Appreciative Inquiry:
Define The issue is the rapidly dwindling numbers of wild rhinos due to illegal poaching. They are poached for use in mystical medicine practices in some Asian countries. Rhino horn trade is a very lucrative business on the black market. Corruption in the systems set in place to protect wild rhinos, and poor economic opportunities contribute to an environment where rhino numbers are dwindling.

Team 4

Our purpose is to bring awareness of both the rhino problem and the chance to be a part of the solution to the younger generation who have the greatest potential for initiating change. By sharing what we know, we can inspire activism to help the Council of Contributors in their effort. Therefore, our goal will be to design the best influential posters to ultimately reduce rhino poaching in Africa.

Team 6 will develop an ABQ Zoo & BioPark educational campaign targeting public school grades K-12. The primary goal of this BioPark informational booth project is not to raise money, but to educate young minds with the traffic of older minds as well; this will create awareness in the immediate New Mexico area, which will potentially create an indirect relationship with donations.
